Bruno Mars – A Singer That Will Be Around ForeverThe more I hear songs Bruno Mars', his wide and varied musical background, and watching him in interviews, I can clearly say, Bruno is an artist for all ages. At a very young age, would be carried out with the band of his father in Hawaii and the songs sung by artists like Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.

• Lady Gaga made her modeling debut (and played her new song “Government Hooker”) at Thierry Mugler’s F/W 2011 runway show in Paris. And while most models do a little turn at the end of the catwalk, Gaga started smoking a cigarette. Amazing.
• Remember when Jared Leto wore that oversize poncho-Snuggie thing? Yeah, well now he’s sporting giant fringe shoulder pads. What will the 30 Seconds To Mars frontman wear next? Our guess: FEATHERS!

• The Oscars went down with a BANG! We’ve got every gown that grazed the red carpet from that night (and ALL of Anne Hathaway’s seven stage looks!).

DANIEL RADCLIFFE
Daniel Radcliffe at the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1″ in New York City on November 15, 2010, at the Daniel Radcliffe Gotham Magazine Cover Party in New York City on April 25, 2011, and at the after party for the Broadway opening night of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” in New York city on March 27, 2011.

Nominated For: Best Male Performance – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
Character Name: Harry Potter
Memorable Style Moments: As an accomplished singer, dancer, and actor, Daniel Radcliffe is the ultimate triple-threat, but what he doesn’t get enough credit for is how consistently he slays casual looks, black-tie suiting, and everything in between. We love how dapper D. Rad looks pairing a classic navy suit and tie with a fun gingham shirt, as much as we adore how effortlessly he slides into a striped tee + leather bomber jacket + resin rinse jeans + lace-up boots combo without missing a beat. And, of course, as a Brit, he does old-school sophistication without looking curmudgeony in slicked hair, a bowtie and a pocket square. Easy peasy.
JESSE EISENBERG
Jesse Eisenberg at the 5th International Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy on November 1, 2010, at Los Angeles Confidential magazine’s Jesse Eisenberg Awards Celebration in Marina del Rey, California on February 26, 2011, and at the 2010 New York Film Critics Circle Awards in New York City on January 10, 2011.

Nominated For: Best Male Performance – The Social Network
Character Name: Mark Zuckerberg
Memorable Style Moments: Hold the phone… No, seriously, wait. Have I been living under a rock or are you guys realizing with me that Jesse Eisenberg is legitimately reallyreally HOTT (with two capital T’s, lest anyone gets confused…)? Maybe I was wrongly blinded by Jesse’s shrew-like portrayal of Facebook mastermind, Mark Zuckerberg, but praise be for now I see the LIGHT. The breadth of his typically hunched chest in this tuxedo is delightfully surprising and VERY badass in a Reservoir Dogs way (also, stealth pocket square is yum). Admittedly, the New Balances were a questionable choice, but at least the hue of his kicks perfectly complement the slate blue of his blazer (this is also around the time we noticed that he was kinda tall…). And his flatter/straighter ‘do rocked with a blue skinny tie that accentuates his dramatic cheek bones, is also thoroughly enjoyable. *fans self with one hand while biting the fist of the other*
ROBERT PATTINSON
Robert Pattinson at the ‘Water For Elephants’ premiere in New York City on April 17, 2011, at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California on January 16, 2011, and at the ‘Water For Elephants’ premiere in Berlin, Germany on April 27, 2011.

Nominated For: Best Male Performance – The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Character Name: Edward Cullen
Memorable Style Moments: Hullo NURSE. If you’ve noticed that this “Style Moments” analysis of the MTV Movie Awards male nominees has degenerated into a gauche swoonfest of manmeat ogling, then you would be right because, well, HI, it’s Robert Pattinson. We didn’t approach the photo research for this post like dressing up Ken dolls or anything but Pattinson’s suiting looks were definitely the most memorable and the fact that Edward Robert looks bananas-glorious in combed wool and carded cashmere is not our fault. Whether it’s a narrow lapel, two-button grey wool suit with a symmetrical (dare I say, Windsor?) knot in a wine tie or a tuxedo with a peaked lapel that matches the oh-so-tempted-to-touch (word to Kevin Little) spikiness of his newly shorn hair or an adventurously dyed brownish cashmere suit, R. Pattz is a dream.
TAYLOR LAUTNER
Taylor Lautner at the screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ in New York City on June 28, 2010, at the 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California on March 27, 2010, and at the premiere of ‘The Twilight Sage: Eclipse’ in Los Angeles, California on June 24, 2010.

Nominated For: Best Male Performance – The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Character Name: Jacob Black
Memorable Style Moments: Taylor Lautner gets a lot of praise for his rippling pecs and washboard abs (named THE top dude on People Magazine’s 50 Amazing Bodies list last year), but the guy really does also know how to wear clothes (even if millions prefer that he wouldn’t…mmm… running in the raiiiin). Taylor knew this unexpected grey-and-navy combo would work after wearing it during the entirety of The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D, but this time the look reads less infinitely aquatic. He knows how to dress up a V-neck and jeans with dress shoes and a blazer and even sports a few subtle chains ’round his neck. Generally speaking, dudes usually shy away from man-jewelry, but Taytay is a risk-taker and honestly, with his physique, he could probably make a tutu look masculine. He also knows that sometimes the old stand-bys are all you need, and wows in an all-charcoal suit and tie with a crisp white button-up.
ZAC EFRON
Zac Efron at the premiere of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ in Westwood, California on July 20, 2010, at the ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ photocall in Madrid, Spain on September 13, 2010, and at the premiere of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ in Deauville, France on September 11, 2010.

Nominated For: Best Male Performance – Charlie St. Cloud
Character Name: Charlie St. Cloud
Memorable Style Moments: Shedding that teenybopper image is a hard transition for anyone, but Zac Efron is evolving before our eyes with minimal growing pains. Everyone knows real men can rock skinny ties and pants, and seeing Zac decked out in this lustruous dark grey suit is anything but painful (bonus points for that expertly placed, nimble tie-clip). As if that didn’t get the point across, he grew some (very well kempt) facial hair, threw on a red plaid shirt, and a pair of rugged khakis for an ensemble that screams “Brawny Man”. And while this all light-grey suit + amber-gradient aviators + deep side-part + mustache + soul patch + beard look has the very real potential to come off sort of “used car salesman” on most, Zac makes it WERK! He’s almost David Beckham-ish in that regard, no?

The HUMONGOUS NEWS at San Diego Comic-Con this year is NOT super-cute girl nerds in costume, OR rooftop swimming pool parties, OR onion rings for breakfast…it’s this thing called TWILIGHT BREAKING DAWN and the fact that its leading man Robert Pattinson—the man with arguably the most awesome hair in the universe—has gone and shaved HALF HIS HEAD. We peeped his ‘do straight from the Comic-Con hallway, and it is half-shaved. Like, he stopped mid cranium, put down the razor and was like, “Eh, I’m donezo here!” Twitter is exploding with reactions to RPattz’s new hair, and, as of press time, we can confirm that his hair is NOT matted, but actually shaved. This a HUGE move for Robert, considering his flowy, life-of-their-own locks have always been his trademark.
The 8,500 Twihards inside Hall H were eager to peep exclusive footage of the new installment but they were also stoked about the prospect of ogling Robert’s signature hotness in real life. So you can imagine their frothing, frantic dismay at his newly shorn aerodynamic state. In respect to them and in homage to the tonsorial beauty that he kindly displayed over the years, we present a history of R Pattz’s follicles. And don’t forget to watch Robert, Kristen, and the cast live from Comic-Con on MTV today at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
It’s time for the weekly Cover Girl Roundup again, and this installation is one of our BIGGEST yet! Last week, we spotlighted the release of V Magazine‘s “Asia Issue” with Lady Gaga fronting the mag clad in facial embellishments in honor of her writing debut. We also featured the always-lovely Rachel McAdams on the cover of Elle, everyone’s favorite cheeky British fashionista, Alexa Chung, on the cover of Vogue UK, and Cameron Diaz‘s side-boob all over the June cover of Cosmopolitan. This week, we’re BLOWIN’ UP with covers: Britney Spears looking better than ever on Harper’s Bazaar, Taylor Swift on the newest issue of InStyle, the perfection that is Penélope Cruz‘s face emblazoned across the front of the cover of Vogue, a red-lipped beauty-marked January Jones on Allure, and Cameron Diaz making her second Cover Girl Roundup appearance in a row as the face of this June’s Elle UK.
IT’S BRITNEY B#$%*! @^%&^$! &*%^@#$@%#$*******%#$^! Yes, that was all necessary, thx. Come on, did you LOOK at this cover of Harper’s Bazaar? This cover of Britney looking classy and powerful and beautiful and strong and just about the furthest away she could possibly be from that bald umbrella-wielding crazy-pants we were all too familiar with four years ago?? The buzz is that Britney’s back, but I would argue that Brit is not only back but has pushed herself to an entirely new level — one she’s never even come close to before. In this optic white Bill Blass cutout back dress, she looks mature, poised, and genuinely happy as she peers backward over her shoulder as if to say, “Hey there, I know you missed me. Well, here I am, SUCKERS, and you all need to catch up!” Oh, Brit Brit, you coy little minx!
Speaking of growing up, Taytay, is that you?! Taylor Swift is looking pretty darn mature on the cover of this month’s issue of InStyle. She may have risen to superstardom by singing about Prince Charmings and fairy-tale endings and the highs and lows of being a teenager, but now that she’s 21 and has had some real-life experiences, her springy ringlets are a little looser and heavy with the wisdom that comes with age. OK, not really, but the smoother, more relaxed ‘do is definitely becoming, and in this goldenrod asymmetrical Victoria Beckham shift, T. Swift is clearly making that transition from “cute” to “sexy.”
Holy proximities—talk about a CLOSE-UP! Most people couldn’t pull off a magazine cover in which your head takes up at least 65 percent of the surface area—airbrushing or no airbrushing—but Spanish beauty Penélope Cruz is not most people, and Vogue is definitely not most magazines. This year has been a big one for Cruz, with the birth of her son, Leo, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, starring alongside Johnny Depp in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. And yet, look at her here: fresh-faced, dewy, an effortless side braid, impeccably shaded and sculpted brows, and a complexion to kill for (not die, because the sight of her perfectly toned and freckled skin doesn’t send you into a dark wallowing sadness as much as it ignites an apocalyptic rage). It’s as if she doesn’t even know the MEANING of a stress pimple!
Is this January Jones or her Mad Men character, Betty Draper? Double J appears on the June cover of Allure doing her retro-chic thang in a short wavy/curly feathered bob, RICH red lips, and nails, and a tastefully darkened beauty mark (read: the anti-Gaga enormole). AND instead of looking as if she’s choking on the wrong end of a spaghetti noodle or like her trachea is being attacked by an off-camera foe, the former model effectively pulls off the infamously difficult hands-caressing-own-neck pose and manages to actually look thoughtful and sensual.
Cameron Diaz is preeetty notorious for appearing in her underwear in films, and here she is. At it again. Frolicking around in her skivvies. Or is that a one-piece swimsuit? Or a bodysuit? Or a tankini? Whatever, the point is that she’s totally pantsless all over the June cover of British Elle. And she’s, like, doing Tai Chi or yoga, or she’s about to roll out into a cartwheel or she’s tackling a linebacker or… or you know, doing something superathletic because her body is absolutely SMOKIN’ (go rent The Mask right NOW). It’s no wonder JT couldn’t resist costarring with her in their new film, Bad Teacher, even though they’ve been broken up and reportedly aren’t getting back together (because everyone knows he’s saving his heart for ME, duh). We’re with you, Justin. The months you spent ogling Cam’s superhot physique on set are totally forgivable because for real, the woman = YOWZA.
